Top 5 most popular Member Support topics

Many of our members are facing challenges regarding their day-to-day real estate business during this uncertain time. To help ease your concerns and assist you with your questions, the Canadian Real Estate Association’s (CREA) Member Support team is working from home to provide you with the guidance you need, when you need it.

Here are five of the most popular topics for questions and where to find the answers.

1. CREA WEBForms®

CREA WEBForms® is an essential business tool you rely on. With its many features and functions, sometimes it just takes a bit of guidance to point you in the right direction.

Questions such as how to get started, how to create and edit a transaction template and how to add a clause are popular inquiries.

Many of the answers to these questions can be found on the CREA WEBForms® Learning Resource page which also includes a help guide, tutorial videos and scheduled webinars.

2. Digital signatures (or e-signatures)

E-signature providers make the signing process simpler and easier for both members and clients, and it has become an essential part of using CREA WEBForms®.

Who do you call when you require assistance or have a question about how it works? That depends on which platform you are using.

If you are using an e-signature provider such as DocuSign, Instanet or Nexone, and have a question, it is best to contact the provider directly for assistance.

Instanet  https://www.instanetsolutions.com/support/

Many members have questions about their eligibility for government programs such as the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) and how to apply.

To determine CERB eligibility, we encourage you to apply. As you proceed with the application, you’ll learn whether you qualify or not. Those who are still unsure can ask the Government of Canada about their personal circumstances by calling the toll-free telephone line at 1-800-959-8281 or visit their website.

CREA has created a webpage for members: What REALTORS® Should Know About COVID-19, where you can find resources outlining everything you need now or will need in the future. The microsite is updated with the latest government collaborations, tech information, legal issues and webinars.
