What is CREA Doing to Help REALTORS® Get Leads? Watch Ask Me Anything with Members of CREA’s Board of Directors

As a REALTOR®, you wear many hats. You’re a trusted advisor and confidant, a marketing expert, pricing guru, but most importantly, you’re a calming figure as your clients embark on the journey to homeownership. Good or bad, your role involves tempering expectations, staying positive and being honest with your clients.

Like you, CREA’s Board of Directors believes in transparency and accountability and for these reasons, we’re happy to announce the launch of our new Ask Me Anything video series.

In Episode 5, CREA’s Chair Costa Poulopoulos, Chair-Elect Cliff Stevenson and Vice Chair Jill Oudil speak openly and honestly about some of the most popular questions we receive from you, our members.

From ways CREA is increasing REALTOR® leads to addressing diversity among CREA staff and executives to how REALTOR.ca can compete with private-sector companies, your questions are answered.

What is CREA doing to help REALTORS® get leads?

“Obviously our best resource is REALTOR.ca. It’s absolutely the best way we can get leads directly to REALTORS®. The technology staff at CREA has been amazing with the changes that they continuously make to REALTOR.ca to get leads direct, with no cost, no extra charge to the REALTOR® and the quality of leads has improved.” – Jill Oudil.

How does REALTOR.ca plan to compete with the large private-sector companies entering the Canadian real estate market?

“Consumers want data and we have the data that they can trust in. That’s going to continue putting us ahead of the pack…we don’t rest on our laurels. We continue to evolve. We continue to improve and give consumers what they want so the trust is there, and we are the go-to site.” – Costa Poulopoulos.

What’s CREA doing to increase diversity among its staff and executives?

“I think it’s important for members to know, we’re on it. We’re having these conversations and quite frankly they’re not easy conversations to have, let’s just address that. They’re challenging conversations, they’re courageous conversations, but CREA is absolutely having these conversations because we realize the importance of this initiative—both at the staff level and the volunteer level.” – Cliff Stevenson.
