Celebrating Success: Highlights from CREA’s 2023 Annual Report

Everywhere you looked in 2023, housing was top of mind.

Our 2023 Annual Report demonstrates how CREA supported the REALTOR® community to drive significant impact as Canada faces a growing housing crisis.

“In 2023, we embraced opportunities and navigated through challenges and achieved many milestones together,” said Larry Cerqua, CREA’s 2023-2024 Chair in his message to members.

So, why are we talking about 2023 today?

As a not-for-profit organization, it’s required by law for CREA to share its financial reports with membership. We see this as an opportunity to demonstrate transparency and accountability in all facets of our organization. And it’s a chance to look back on the achievements, lessons, and highlights from the previous year in the lead up to our Annual General Meeting, in April.

REALTORS® are at the heart of everything we do, and our strategic plan provides an overview of how we, as your national association, achieve our mission and uphold our values. As a snapshot of our past year, the annual report allows us to compile data from all aspects of our organization and put it to use to inform decision-making moving forward.

  1. I am a new realtor and have found that CREA’s support to real estate professions is remarkable.
