Bridging the gap between millennials & baby boomers: A look at Banff Western Connection’s D.A.N.G.E.R. Debates

As the old adage goes: age is nothing but a number. This sentiment was put to the test during Banff Western Connection 2017 earlier this year where hundreds of REALTORS® converged at the picturesque Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel to brush up on everything from virtual reality and marketing to financial planning and entrepreneurship.

New to the conference was the implementation of a Young Professionals Network (YPN) stream, offering sessions tailored to a younger generation of REALTORS®. Well-attended by REALTORS® of all ages and experience levels, one common theme emerged: How do we bridge the gap between millennials and baby boomers in the ever-evolving real estate industry?

Thanks to six influential REALTORS®, the D.A.N.G.E.R. Debates panel – moderated by 2015 D.A.N.G.E.R. Report author and real estate trends guru, Stefan Swanepoel – explored some of the gaps that exist in the industry and suggestions on how we can move forward, together.
